Who these calculators are for

Marketplace sellers who want to know what is left after fees and costs.

Small shop owners who set prices from cost and want a target margin.

Anyone who runs paid ads and needs to know the break-even point.

How these calculators work

Each page explains its formula in plain words, shows a worked example and lists its limits, so you can see exactly how a result is reached. Fee and cost values start as placeholders that you can edit, and the numbers you type stay in your browser.

Tips for accurate results

Start with your own current numbers. Fee rates change and differ by category, country and account, so replace the defaults with the rates on your own statement. Include every cost you pay per order, such as shipping labels, packaging and payment fees, because leaving one out makes profit look better than it is. If you compare two tools, check that they use the same inputs. Results are estimates, so check important figures against your own account data.

How to choose the right calculator

Start with the question you need to answer. If you want to know what a sale on eBay or Etsy will earn, use the matching fee calculator. If you are setting a price from your cost, use the markup and margin tool. If you are running ads, use the break-even ROAS calculator to find the return you need before you spend. Many sellers use all three together: set a price, check the fees, then check how much advertising the margin can afford.
